Yeah, yeah, yeah....
I just moved into my brand new house. Because I am a "neat freak," I insist on having the grout sealed on the very first day. I can't possibly have a stain on my new tile floor. I hire a professional because I don't have the time (or desire) to do it myself. I should have known better.
Enter Rhonda! She slops down some grout sealer, assures me it will dry clear and will evaporate off of my tile. Do you see where I am going with this?
Oh yeah! Two days later, I have a cloudy haze all over my brand new tile floors. I can't get it off. So, Rhonda comes back to acid wash my tile.
Long story short. There's still a light haze on my tile, backsplash, and showers. The grout is no longer sealed. And, I am out 250 bucks!
Lesson: If you want it done right, do it yourself!
